Day 1 Schedule
A review of the basic food groups, their importance in our diet, and what each group brings to the table. This will be an interactive session starting with a presentation.
Practical session putting together the information on the food groups and making meals more balanced and healthy. Learn how to balance out your meals from the information learn in the first 2 hours.
Theory and practical – For this, students will learn about the various body composition measurements – Weight, BMI, Waist Circumference, Waist to Hip Ratio, %Body Fat, Sum of Skinfolds, and why they are important measurements. There will be an hour practical to take some of these body composition measurements.
Theory and practical – Another hour of practical. Students will look at how to interpret results.

Day 2 Schedule
A look at the role nutrition plays in collagen formation and fascia structure. This will focus on injury recovery and a closer look at the condition Dupuytren’s Contracture, and whether nutrition could play a role in prevention/treatment.
